Renewable Energy Economy
The time for our nation’s transition from foreign oil dependence to domestic renewable energy independence has long since passed. The renewable energy research of today must turn into the renewable energy solutions of tomorrow. In Congress, I will:
- Work to bring the innovation economy of alternative energy to Florida's 5th District
- Create new jobs, here at home, safe from out-sourcing
- Oversee and pursue the positive economic and national security advantages of renewable and alternative energies; reducing our nation's full dependence on foreign oil
- Would actively work in Congress to protect our precious ocean resources by allowing drilling only in the pre-determined areas and enforce stricter security requirements and accountablility guidelines
